The Early Years Strategy - Easy Read documents
The Early Years Strategy is a plan to support all children from before they are born until they are 5 years old, as well as their families, carers and communities. This is a fantastic step towards making sure young children have a happy and healthy childhood and that they grow into happy and healthy adults.
We worked with the Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS) to create accessible Easy Read versions of:
- a draft of the Early Years Strategy
- a report about what the community shared about the draft
- the new Early Years Strategy 2024-2034.
We were proud to work with DSS on these documents so they could be shared with the community in an accessible format. We were thrilled that DSS received positive feedback about the Easy Read version of the draft strategy, and it had a relatively high download rate from the DSS website.
