A new website for the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO)

As a leading advocacy organisation in the Australian disability sector, AFDO required a new, fully accessible website to suit the needs of a diverse range of people with disability. We worked with the AFDO team to produce an easy-to-use website structure, great content that is clear and easy to understand and imagery and information that takes diverse audience groups into consideration. The design and website structure we developed supported AFDO’s goal of making sure that everyone can engage with the organisation.

We applied all aspects of technical accessibility to the new website, meaning it meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. Extensive testing was also carried out by people with vision impairment to ensure the site was accessible and user-friendly.
