This September, we’ll be travelling to Adelaide to present at the Digital Inclusion and A11y Accessibility Meetup.
Our Director, Lyndall Thomas, will be talking about the benefits of providing information in Easy Read and plain language. She will also be going through the Easy Read version of the Government of South Australia’s new Online Accessibility Policy.
As part of its commitment to making information accessible to the widest possible audience, the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) recently released the Online Accessibility Toolkit. This toolkit aims to help all areas of government in South Australia produce accessible online content. We are proud to be supporting the Government of South Australia with its mission by creating the Easy Read version of the Online Accessibility Policy.
DPC is hosting a Digital Inclusion and A11y Accessibility Meetup on Friday 27 September. This event will also celebrate International Day for Universal Access to Information 2019.
