Inclusive SA Annual Report 2021–2022
We have had the privilege of working with the Government of South Australia Department of Human Services (SA DHS) to create Easy Read versions of 3 of its Inclusive SA annual reports since 2021. We produced Easy Read and HTML versions of the Inclusive SA Annual Report 2021–2022.
The annual reports explain what the South Australian government is doing to make the state more inclusive and accessible for people with disability. Each report shows how government organisations are meeting the goals of the State Disability Inclusion Plan. During the latest reporting period, 93 government organisations reported on their progress against the plan’s 39 goals.
We translated several detailed themes, actions and recommendations into Easy Read style. This involved clearly explaining key messages without overwhelming the reader. Our design team paid special attention to colour and icon choice. We made sure the report followed Inclusive SA style and branding and was consistent with the previous reports. For the final product, we provided both an accessible PDF and an HTML version of the report so people have the option to read the content online.
