Disability Australia Hub websites

In 2017 and 2018, we worked with the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) to create the Disability Australia Hub, the new national gateway to disability knowledge, advocacy and information resources. The project was funded by the NDIA in the first round of ILC national readiness grants.

The Hub provides a wide range of information about disability in Australia and leads directly to the websites of the AFDO members. We also created new websites for several of these organisations as a part of the project, including Deafblind Australia, Inclusion Australia, and the Deafness Forum of Australia.

We designed the sites to have an easy-to-use, consistent website structure, and included great content that is clear and easy to understand. We also added imagery and information that takes diverse audience groups into consideration. This made sure that the sites were fully accessible and supported the goal of making sure that everyone can engage with the organisations.
